Waste and Recycling Scheduling Routes

The awarded contract for the rescheduling and delivery of waste and recycling collection services to meet the requirements of the Simpler Recycling reform (November 2024). The reform introduces mandatory separation of paper and card from other recyclable materials and requires the provision of communal waste and recycling collections across relevant properties. Under the awarded contract, the supplier will implement a revised collection model that supports: The separate collection of paper and card to ensure regulatory compliance, Dedicated or integrated communal collection services, and flexible collection arrangements capable of collecting sacks and containers on the same vehicle during the rounds.
