Expressions of Interest for chancel roof repairs at the former church of St Michael Coslany in Norwich

Norwich Historic Churches Trust invite expressions of interest for chancel roof repairs at the former church of St Michael Coslany. Specialist contractors experienced in repairing flint and masonry historic churches are invited to express interest in repairs to the chancel roof at St Michael Coslany following deterioration of historic timbers. Current estimated project value £100,000 - £200,000 with a two stages selection process. Tender evaluation and award criteria will be 40% price 60% quality. Please indicate availability for preferred start date in autumn 2021. A shortlist of 5 contractors will be selected based on: • Experience of conservation of flint medieval buildings including hot-mixed lime mortars • Traditional carpentry skills and experience working large sections of oak • Technical capacity • H&S record • Training record • Lead-in time / availability To express interest, please visit https;//in-tendhost.co.uk/intendsharedservices and click on the 'tenders' tab, and select 'Current'.
