This opportunity is restricted to members of the Crown Commercial Services Framework RM6309 Management Consultancy Framework Four (MCF4) - Lot 8 Infrastructure Northumberland County Council are seeking to appoint a contractor to commission high-level Public Realm, Connectivity and Wayfinding option appraisals and study reports in a minimum of two centres: Newbiggin-by-the-Sea and Bedlington, with funding secured from the North East Combined Authority's -North East High Streets Early Priorities Fund and the Borderlands Place Programme Development Support Fund. Subject to progress with the study work, the Council may also seek to commission options assessments in Prudhoe, Bellingham, Haltwhistle and Rothbury. Working alongside the NCC project lead and Highways Design Office lead, the appointed contractor will develop a long list of potential public realm investments, setting out how each identified intervention will improve the local environment and amenity, benefit the town's economic growth, indicating the likely level of complexity in delivery and approximate cost."
