3694/JN - Femtosecond Pulsed Wave Lasers

With funding from The Wellcome Trust the lab of Dr Andrew Lin in the University's School of Biosciences is out to tender for 2 femtosecond pulsed wave lasers. The principal use will be: Two-photon in vivo imaging of fluorescent signals in intact biological samples, especially brains of the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster. This is an FTS open exercise.
