Description
The Cumbria Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (the Commissioner) intends to commission a programme of voluntary interventions with perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse and those at risk of becoming perpetrators of such abuse. This preventative and early intervention programme will take a holistic approach working with perpetrators, victims and their families using restorative principals to prevent and reduce incidents of low to medium-level domestic abuse. It will provide structured group work, individual work, or a combination of both, where perpetrators are challenged to recognise abuse & reflect on their own behaviour and its impact. Programmes can be tailored to respond to the needs of specific groups, whilst delivering a Service Model which is flexible to engage with and meet often complex individual needs. The contract will be awarded for a period of up to 5 years, from the commencement date 1st April 2025, for an initial period of 3 years with options to extend for two further 12 month periods, up to 31st March 2030. Highest Value estimated budget for up to 5 year period, not including VAT.
