Description
The City of London is seeking to appoint an architect or landscape designer to design a new public space in conjuncture with the new building development of 2-6 Cannon Street, which is currently under construction. This will also include enhancements to the area in front of St Nicolas Cole Abbey as well as improvements to the streets nearby such as paving, planting and lighting. The applicant should have strong skills in designing public spaces suited to varied user needs and uses. Expertise in lighting design and experience of working with structural engineers would also be required. The purpose of this document is to outline the project's background and to provide the main requirements and considerations that the design proposals are required to address. It also sets out the deliverables and timeframes to be met within the context of the project's programme. Please note the programme may be subject to change to align with that of the building development.
