Description
Lancashire County Council is inviting providers to deliver a service for the provision of Return Interviews for Children Missing from Home across Lancashire. The children missing from home return interview service is provided to all children up to the age of 18, who have been reported as missing to the police and are not known to Lancashire Children's Social Care. The return interviews (RI) and associated support work may take place in a variety of settings which should be neutral and safe for the child or young person. The Service will undertake all return interviews within 72 hours of the child or young person returning to home, unless there are exceptional circumstances, as agreed by the Council. The service will offer up to 3 follow up visits in order to further support those children or young people with an identified higher level of need. This will include, if required, the development of future prevention strategies.
