Supply of Ductile Cast Iron Containers (DCICs), Associated Services and Technical Consultancy

Background Magnox Ltd ("Magnox") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. Magnox is responsible for the safe and secure operation and clean-up of 12 nuclear sites around the UK on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. Description Magnox is intending to award a contract for up to 10 years to meet the Magnox Waste Programme needs covering supply of further DCICs, associated services and technical consultancy as summarised in the scope below. Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH ("GNS") are the sole suppliers of the DCICs used by the Magnox Waste Programme; additionally GNS own all Intellectual Property (IP) for the DCIC containers.
