Description
CORSERV on behalf of Via East Midlands Ltd (Via) is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified sub-contractors to develop an agile framework of specialists. Via is a new joint venture company between Nottinghamshire County Council and CORSERV (a company wholly owned by Cornwall Council). The intention is to appoint sub-contractor specialists to assist Via in carrying out highways works whilst establishing a partnering relationship, ensuring that all parties work and act in a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation. The estimated annual spend is anticipated to be between £3.5m to £4.8m. The framework will consist of 20 main lots and 59 sub-lots relating to Volume 1 The Specification of Highway Works. A maximum of 6 sub-contractors may be appointed to each lot / sub-lot, excepting the Rights of Way works, where a maximum of 12 sub-contractors may be appointed to each sub-lot. It is expected that the framework agreement will run for an initial period of 2 years, with the option of 2, 1 year extensions, taking the agreement to a 4 year maximum term. The main place of performance will be the county of Nottinghamshire.
