Description

Westminster City Council is embarking on a term contract for Playground Surveying, Repairs and Maintence for a period of 4 years (2+1+1). A two-year initial contract term is to allow for the establishment of the contract delivery. • Electronic management system. - For all assets, inspections and repairs. - Reporting and monitoring. • Inspections - Undertake three Operational Inspections each year. - Assessment of Risk and urgency of repair - High risk items - Defects - Record management - Safety and condition hazards to be recorded and repairs to be identified. - Annual inspection undertaken by an independent third party • Repairs and maintenance - to also include upgrades/replacements of individual pieces of equipment • Provide training. - Visual inspection and defect analysis - Electronic records management - Repair reporting procedures - Risk assessment, control and elimination The contract is not a fixed price contract and the stated value of the contract is only an estimate. The actual value will depend on the types and volumes of work placed under the contract over the full contract period.
