1339/MH Data Visualisation Tool

We are looking to purchase a data visualisation tool and associated consultancy for the necessary implementation and training etc. Work is currently taking place to develop and improve the CDM to hold a greater range and more relevant data for reporting, MI and BI purposes; the University requires a modern and flexible data visualisation tool which will allow user friendly, high quality, interactive dashboards and other data visualisations to be developed and disseminated through a single portal, to capitalise on the improved data source. Reports and dashboards developed with the tool should be interactive and capable of drawing together data from across areas of operations to deliver a range of insight and encourage evidence-based decision making across the University. Dashboards and visualisations will generally draw data from the CDM, but the system should also be capable of blending data from various sources if necessary. It should also be possible for data to be worked on within the system e.g. to perform grouping and calculations without using separate software e.g. exporting to Excel and re-importing.
