Description
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). ISIS, at STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, is a world-leading research centre serving the UK and international scientific community in the physical and life sciences. The ISIS facility has a permit to accumulate radioactive waste at RAL and is currently holding various categories of radioactive waste in varying size and shape. This requirement is to engage a suitable and qualified supplier to take responsibility for the end to end disposal process from collection of waste packages from RAL to final disposal at suitable incineration location(s).
