Description
The information provided by the RLs enables levy payers to select variety’s that are optimal for their cropping system and meet the requirements of their local market. Key to this is the assessment of varietal quality characterists. Grain samples are taken at harvest from trial plots by the RL trials operators and sent to the relevant quality testing laboratory to carry out various laboratory quality tests and assessments on them. It is this part of the process for which the tenderers are applying: to manage receipt of samples, carry out quality test procedures as described in this ITT and produce results for AHDB. The laboratory quality tests have been divided into four lots for this tender according to crop and types of tests. Tenderers are invited to apply for single or multiple lots as per the list below : Lot 1 Wheat Milling & Baking Lot 2 Quality testing Cereals (Excluding Oats) & Oil content of Oilseed Rape and Linseed Lot 3 Quality testing Oats Lot 4 Barley MicroMalting
