Description
University of the West of England is developing a new collaborative research and business-support centre, focusing on the development of new healthcare technology - the Health Technology Hub. The Health Technology Hub facility will be situated on the UWE campus at Frenchay. Equipment is needed to provide the required state-of-the-art facilities.\n \n Equipment is required for the developing biosensor surfaces and lateral flow based technologies. This will require a package of equipment to include a dispenser for applying biological material to sensor surfaces and also applying lines of reagent onto lateral flow materials; a cutter that will be used to produce lateral flow components and a laminator for the assembly of the lateral flow components. The equipment should be able to be used as a bench top system and require standard mains electricity supply.
