LHC, as a not for profit public sector procurement organisation providing procurement services to Contracting Authorities throughout England, Scotland (on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance) & Wales (on behalf of the Welsh Procurement Alliance) as described on LHC's Buyer Profile (www.lhc.gov.uk/24 for England & Wales) SPA's Buyer Profile (www.scottishprocurement.scot/24 for Scotland ) for the supply and installation of high quality windows and external doorsets suitable for use in public sector housing and non-housing buildings within two worksteams; Timber windows and doorsets (WD1-T4) and PVC-U windows and doorsets (WD1-U10) on a regionalised Lot basis. ompanies were encouraged to tender to service one or more workstreams in one or more Lots. LHC returns surplus Levy income to it's clients to support social value initiatives in the local communities they serve. In order to ensure this opportunity is available to SME's the tender was divided into 8 regional Lots; Lot 1:South West England (KX, K3) Lot 2:South East England incl. London (JW, JS, H1, HX , I) Lot 3:Central England (F, G) Lot 4:Northern England (E, DX, D1, C) Lot 5:North Wales (LN) Lot 6:Mid Wales (LM) Lot 7:South Wales (LS) Lot 8:Scotland (M5, M6, M7, M8, M9) LHC/SPA/WPA have a diverse property portfolio with varying volumes depending on circumstance. The types of properties typically managed are: Domestic: - single occupier and multiple occupier dwellings - houses and flats, - common areas of residential blocks, - low, medium, and high-rise, - residential homes including those with vulnerable persons, - common areas other areas such as garages and loft spaces. Commercial: - Managed Residential Blocks, - care homes and sheltered accommodation, - commercial offices buildings, central or local housing team offices, halls, and day care centres, - Municipal buildings such as libraries, sports hall, museums etc, - other public building such as conference centres and other commercial buildings, - Educational buildings such as universities, schools, and colleges, - Research establishments, - Hospitals/hospital-related properties, including health centres and GP surgeries, - Blue light Buildings.
