Robert Powell Theatre Asbestos Remediation Project

The Allerton Building is located at the heart of the Fredrick Road Campus, with adjacent buildings including the Mary Seacole Building and Energy House 2.0. The University is the single occupier of the Allerton Building. The building houses professional services, teaching space and a canteen on the ground floor. Robert Powell Theatre is located on the Ground Floor. The project will briefly consist of: • Protection of all retained surface finishes and building elements as required both within and outside work areas. • Asbestos removal and remediation works, including associated analytical air monitoring • Decommissioning and necessary removal of mechanical and electrical systems
