Provision of all healthcare services across HMPs Exeter, Dartmoor and Channings Wood

NHS England South (South West) is responsible for commissioning health in HM Prisons with outcome focused primary healthcare, mental health and substance misuse services equivalent to those available to the local community. NHS England, South (South West) intends to commission a new prime provider contract for the provision of all healthcare services across HMPs Exeter, Dartmoor and Channings Wood from 1st April 2017. This procurement will include: HMP Channing’s Wood A Male Category C Adult Training prison with an Operational Capacity of 731. HMP Dartmoor A Male Category C Adult Training prison with an Operational Capacity of 640. HMP Exeter A Male category B Local prison with an Operational Capacity of 561. NHS England South (South West) are proposing to hold a market event to discuss the forthcoming procurement. A date has yet to be confirmed. NHS England South (South West) invites expression of Interest for this project. Can you please complete the attached questionnaire and return by noon 26th February 2016. The information received during this process will be used to inform potential future solutions.
