Description
The Employer wishes to enter into a contract for the design, construction and completion of the redevelopment of two existing garage sites to provide 10 affordable houses at two different locations within the city of Cambridge: • Cameron Road/ Nuns Way and • Wiles Close. The Employer requires the provision of the following: • Development and submission of all the necessary surveys and reports, as they are described in the conditions of the planning permission documents; • Asbestos & demolition survey; • Demolition of the existing garages and site clearance; • Redevelopment of two separate sites within the north of Cambridge and construction of a total of 10 new affordable units for rent as follows: • six 2-bed and one 3-bed houses at the sites located at Cameron Road/ Nuns Way • three 2-bed houses at the site located at Wiles Close • Construction of associated rear gardens and parking spaces for each house; • Construction of two new public parking courts, one at Cameron Rd/Nuns Way and another one at Wiles Close. • Making good of the public areas around the sites that will be affected by the works.
