Description

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (BGCBC), hereinafter referred to as the Authority, invites Tenders, in accordance with the Authority’s Requirements and subject to the attached terms and conditions to set up a contractual agreement for the processing, transportation, recovery and reporting of non-hazardous inert waste as outlined below. • Non-hazardous inert waste from householders that have delivered inert waste to our Household Waste Recycling Centres. • Non-hazardous inert waste from Council highways work. The main aim of the contract is to manage inert wastes in line with the waste hierarchy and to meet the relevant Quality Protocols. The fundamental purpose of the Contract is to secure a current and operational facility which provides a reliable, effective and satisfactory service for the processing and recovery of the Authority’s non-hazardous inert waste. The contract is for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 1 year subject to performance.
