Description
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (The Council) invited organisations with relevant experience of providing Carers services to submit bids for the above contract on behalf of Adult Social Care and Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group. The Council aims to achieve the following outcomes: Carers are involved and co-produce services to meet their needs No carer will be left isolated or unsupported Carers are assisted to make informed choices Carers are supported to be active citizens , leading fulfilling lives and making a positive contribution to their communities Carers organisations have strategic leadership and promote partnership working The contract will commence on 1st April 2016 and will be for a period of 3 years, with an optional extension of up to 2 years, to be exercised at the Council's discretion. The tender process selected for this contract was an Open Process, meaning that suppliers submitted responses to Suitability Criteria to assess their competence and capability to deliver the contract at the same time as submitting Tender documents to determine how they will deliver the contract.
