This invitation to tender is on behalf of Newcastle University, however Suppliers must agree to The Athletic Union, Newcastle University Students Union, and customers/students ordering directly using the Contract by association and supply the same products under the same terms to those groups. It is important that the clothing provided to staff, sports teams and to students for both competitive and recreational wear portrays and supports this strong prestigious image. Our Sports Clubs aspire to be recognised with a clothing range associated within the sports industry both in terms of sporting achievements and the sports kits they use. The University want to ensure staff are proud to wear the uniforms we provide. Newcastle University is seeking to work with a multi-sport kit, clothing and accessories Supplier to develop a sports clothing brand at an affordable price for students that is: • easily identifiable within and externally to the University • compliant with the brand of both Newcastle University and Team Newcastle • suitable for competition and training. We are looking for a Supplier with a proven track record and reputation for high quality, performance and recreational sports clothing for: • The Centre for Physical Recreation and Sport • Sports and Exercise Science • Estates grounds staff • The Athletic Union • Newcastle University Students Union • Customers/students ordering directly
