Provision of of a Youth Activity Park

The Council is looking to provide a Youth Activity Park, located at the Eastern Gateway development in Barnsley town centre. The project comprises of the creation of an activity park on a large area, approximately 12,500 m2 / 3 acres. The current plan includes a large, combined BMX and skate bowl, pump track, a parkour area and jump section. The park will include provision for benches, covered / shaded areas and will involve boundary treatments particularly around adjacent properties.
