FOLKESTONE TOWN CENTRE TRAFFIC FLOW IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF LUF PRIORITY PROJECTS

The priority projects from the Folkestone Place Plan work are now being developed and designed and an application is to be made for LUF funding for these in early July. In order for these projects to have the optimum chance of success for LUF funding, there is a requirement to demonstrate the potential impact of these projects on existing traffic flows around the town. Therefore there is a requirement to commission an update to the 2019 model (to reflect planned development sites by 2031 and new growth forecasts from DfT) and for the model to be run for various scenarios relating to the different FTC priority project design options.
