Description

The Higher and Degree Apprenticeships (HADA) project stated in April 2018, with the following aims: o To establish a University infrastructure to promote and support HADA at De Montfort University. o To establish the governance, processes and procedures to operationalise the delivery of HADA programmes. As part of the overall project the Information Technology and Media Services (ITMS) department are running a workstream to procure and implement a solution to support the management of Learners as well as managing the ILR submissions and the associated finances. Currently the HADA team are maintaining 3 different systems, with manual updates between them whenever the core Student record is updated. These manual updates are being carried out by all the faculties, which will prevent DMU being able to achieve the expected growth in providing HADA programmes. A more detailed background and overview of the systems and processes within DMU is contained within the Synopsis Paper at Section 7 of this RfQ and it should be used in conjunction with the requirements catalogue. De Montfort University requires an effective Solution in place to deal with the expected growth in these type of programmes, which this procurement process seeks to meet. Further details including the full RFQ & Specification, reference 1218/19 can be found at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home All subsequent clarification questions and submission of Bid Responses MUST also be via this same e-tendering portal.
