C25985 - HMC Seeker - MSER & Survey

This contract will be awarded following evaluation of bids based on a combination of Price (70%) and responses to Technical questions (30%). Compliant bids meeting all the criteria in the bid documents, available below, will be assessed on the Price offered and the quality of responses to six Technical questions. The Authority reserves the right to verify information provided by the preferred bidder ahead of awarding a contract. Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. One of these Cutters, HMC Seeker (4207 Class), has a requirement for a period of Maintenance and Safety Equipment Recertification (MSER) works. The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Specification of Requirements (SoR) (C25985 - HMC Seeker - MSER - SOR - v1.0). This opportunity will be let using the UK Government Order Form Short Form Terms and Conditions for Goods and Services (see C25985 - HMC Seeker - MSER - Order Form and Short Form - T&Cs). https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-short-form-contract This package is to be undertaken in the following UK geographic area; 1. The East and South coast of England from The Wash to Plymouth Bidders are required to submit their quotes by email utilising the Bidding Tool (C25985 - HMC Seeker - MSER - Bidding Tool - v1.0) & the technical response document (C25985 - HMC Seeker - MSER - Technical Responses) along with all requested documentation . The purpose of this notice is to make the SoR available to, and invite, potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised bid for the complete and specified work package. Therefore, the timeline for this contract only, is as follows; 1. 1200hrs, 15 November 2023 - deadline for clarification submission to the Buyer; 2. 1600hrs, 22 November 2023 - deadline for submission of bidding tool and specified documents and acceptances; 3. 23 November- 6 December 2023 - compliance checks, evaluation and verification of preferred bid information; 4. (on or around) 8 December 2023 - contract award; 5. Contract Start date 8 January 2024 6. Contract End date 4 February 2024 The Buyer reserves the right to withdraw this opportunity, for any reason, at any point, prior to contract award.
