Adult Care Services, Learning Disabilities, Short Term Enablement and TPO Services

The Council is currently out to tender for a Short-term Enablement and Trusted Provider Organisation service for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. The service will provide skills assessments, support people with planned skill development, and also deliver support to people to resolve short-term issues and challenges. The successful provider will also carry out Care Act reviews on behalf of Adult Community Services. The provider will work in partnership with the County Council over the life of the contract to explore and develop the service model, including working with other commissioned service providers. The aim of this collaborative and developmental approach is to design the future service requirement for short-term support not only for people with learning disabilities and/or autism, but to include people with mental health problems and other needs.
