Innovative Platform for Home Based Services

Southampton City Council proposes to establish a platform for the provision of Home care, Live-In Care, Continuing Health Care (CHC) and Complex Care for Adults and Continuing Care (CC) and Complex Care for Children, Bridging Services, and Extra Care. Providers can apply to join the platform at any time. There are no restrictions to the number of providers who can be appointed to the platform, so long as they meet the Councils award criteria and minimum financial and technical requirements. The platform will be for an initial period of 10 years with the option for extension up to a further period of 10 years, subject to periodic reviews. To support the extended duration of the platform the contracting authority will publish further PIN notices as may be necessary. NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Commissioning Board is a named partner under this published PIN as a call for competition and will have recourse to use the Platform and enter into contracts for the delivery of the services with successful tenderers.
