Sheffield Digital Skills

Sheffield City Council's Employment and Skills section is organising the combination and alignment of different projects which respond to the rapid adoption and acceleration of new technologies including digital, which is necessary in the current climate. We are seeking a provider who can conceptualise, iterate and host a non-accredited open learning resource platform. It is envisaged that it will assist and inform individuals in following a learning pathway. This will be targeted at those who see either currently work for any businesses that wishes to benefit from new technologies. Furthermore, it will act as a point of reference for those who wish to utilize new technologies in new employment positions. The platform will identify and expand upon 8 areas deemed to be of particular value to businesses located in South Yorkshire and highlight the available learning options. We anticipate that the platform will be available from 1st September 2021 until the end of June 2023.
