Architect - The Avenue and Whiskey Bends

North Tyneside Council (The Authority) are seeking to procure architectural services for residential development of The Avenue site and the former Whisky Bends site, Whitley Bay. It is the intention that the units built would be for private sale. The aim is to provide high quality residential development which would complement the character and appearance of the surrounding area whilst maximizing the value of the sites. The design of residential development for the Avenue and Whisky Bends from RIBA Stage 2 to 6. It is envisaged that the team will produce a coordnated suite of information to enable the procurement of a contractor in accordance with RIBA Stage 4 or equivilant. It is then envisaged that the team will be retained with The Authority whilst the successful contractor will complete the design to RIBA Stage 6.
