Zero Emissions Courier Scheme

The London Borough of Waltham Forest was successful in securing funding from the Mayor's Air Quality Fund for the launch and operation of a zero emissions courier service in the borough. Funding is available over 2 years for the operation of a courier service to businesses and their customers in the borough. The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a Service Delivery Partner to develop and operate a Zero Emissions Courier Service in the borough for the period of two years, with an option for an additional two years. Any extension of the service will be reliant on generating revenue and/or (as yet unidentified) additional funding and will be at the sole discretion of the Council. The operation of the courier service includes (but is not limited to); • The management of the service and development of the business • Undertaking of all deliveries • Employment of staff • Customer interface • The upkeep and maintenance of vehicles • Premises to operate the service from
