The requirement is for the provision of a fully-managed community meals service, which by providing a wholesome and nutritious meal to Service users will help to promote the health, wellbeing and independence of people living at home who are at risk of nutritional disadvantage. This (combined with other interventions such as a home care service) may assist them to remain in their own homes for longer than might otherwise be possible.
