Description
Ofgem wanted to create a more dynamic distributional model and archetypes which is able to incorporate new information on consumer behaviour and characteristics as time goes on, rather than the current static model Ofgem has. Ofgem would like to implement price elasticity measures and the application of weights to the respective indicators to accentuate the importance of some of the variables which will in turn provide more accurate results. Ofgem needs the model to incorporate changes in energy consumption during the day factoring consumer demand and peak usage. Ofgem also wanted to incorporate locational postcode data if possible.
