Job Title: Social Worker Rate of Pay: ?16.06 per hour (PAYE) paying up to ?28 per hour dependent on experience. Brief description: West Bromwich Adults Community Social Work Team - Social Worker for immediate start. 3-6 month contract paying up to ?28 dependent on experience. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic social worker to join our team to complete social care outcome focused assessments, and reviews of needs for adults living in their homes in the community, care homes, supported housing schemes and supported living units. o Completing Mental Capacity Assessments and best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, completing Court of Protection Documents as part of assessments when required. o Identifying safeguarding and undertaking section 42 safeguarding enquiries and following the guidelines as outlined in the Care Act 2014. o Supporting with duty, maintaining a case load, case management, dealing with complex cases, Continuing Healthcare and working within a timely manner to meet deadlines. We offer induction, hybrid working, provide IT equipment, regular supervision, access to training, a friendly and supportive team and access to experienced line management support. A Social Work Degree, Social Work England Registration and enhanced Adults DBS is required for this role and must be evidenced as part of a candidate submission.
