Marketing Manchester, part of the Growth Company (GC), is seeking to appoint a provider to supply the design and development of visitmanchester.com. Marketing Manchester require an organisation to redesign and develop our visitmanchester.com website. Our Visit Manchester website is the main digital channel through which we promote Greater Manchester nationally and internationally to visitors, groups, travel trade and the media, as a world-class city for tourism. There are a number of objectives that we require for the delivery of the contract. • To create an award-winning website that delivers innovative, inspirational and cutting-edge digital activity that motivates visitors from consideration to action and drives economic benefit to Greater Manchester. The aims of Marketing Manchester, to be realised through the delivery of this project, are: • To deliver inspirational and informative tourism-related information that excites and engages website visitors • To develop a platform that enables the delivery of robust and measurable national and international marketing campaigns • To develop a platform that delivers income and supports a sustainable economic model for Marketing Manchester • To develop a platform that supports our Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure partners, and helps to drive direct bookings and conversions • To be cutting-edge, harnessing the latest technologies including AI and personalisation, in order to deliver a website that is future-proof and offers best-in-class user experience • To deliver activity that confirms Marketing Manchester's status as a world-leading DMO • To be data driven and develop a model to measure ROI of digital activity and be able to attribute digital campaigns with measurable footfall and bookings. In addition to this scope of work and its objectives, Marketing Manchester may implement some additional integrations (AI chatbot and Itinerary Planner/Content Personalisation) with an anticipated budget of £60,000 per annum.
