For students who are not already in receipt of a diagnosis, the University of Hull encourage applicants to undertake an SpLD screener prior to their arrival at the university. However there could be instances where an SpLD may be suspected by a lecturer or personal supervisor and referral for an educational psychology assessment, with a subsequent report, may be beneficial in order for them to access support, either internally or externally. \n The university aims to support all students who have an identified SpLD whether they are in receipt of DSA funding or not, this is to ensure that all students are able to achieve the best possible results from their time studying at the University
