Description
The Framework provision of Domiciliary Support Service 2019 LOT 1 - General Domiciliary Support in LeicesterCity. An addition of eight providers has been added to the current list of 20 providers. Providers appointed to the Open Framework Agreement will now be subject to ongoing performance monitoring, as specified in the Specification and contract documentation. The Authority, under The Care Act (2014), has a statutory duty to undertake an assessment of a Service Users'need for care & support, and then to decide whether the service users' needs call for the provision of anydomiciliary support service, and if so, by whom. The CCG is required to fulfil the NHS statutory obligations under the national framework for NHS funded Continuing Health Care (CHC) and NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC) for adults aged over 18 who have been assessed as eligible for 100% or joint funded care. The proposed Contract will be for an initial period of 3 years to commence on 10 June 2019 with an option toextend, subject to satisfactory performance outcomes and agreement by the Authority, for a further period upto1+1 year, taking the contract term to a maximum of five years.
