Provision of Care & Support Service in Extra Care Housing Scheme

Bridgend CBC wishes to award a contract, for the provision of an Extra Care service in Kenfig Hill, Bridgend (Tender reference B1000). This is a community based supported accommodation model which supports a preventive and reablement agenda, and the wellbeing initiatives as identified within Welsh Government policies and the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014. The aim of the service is to enable people to ‘live the best life they want to live’ in an environment where the service is the enabler, and the people are the changers. Supporting independence within the person’s home – to increase the range of options for self-support and targeted assistance to build on their strengths and maintain or improve their quality of life.
