Description
Herefordshire Council are looking for a provider to continue to deliver daytime supports to adults with a learning disability to meet eligible social care needs. Currently the service known as St Owens provides support for people with a learning disability, the majority of whom have a profound disability and/or complex needs. Support is delivered both on and off site from a centrally located building on Symonds Street in Hereford known as St Owens centre, this is a council owned property, and also an adjacent small building known as Centre 18. The building is ground floor level access and has been adapted to support people who use wheelchairs with wide corridors and personal care facilities which accommodate hoists and changing beds. The main site is shared with Barr's Court 6th form college.
