Brief Description of Requirement To test a selection of Lithium-Ion batteries to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these): 1) The General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) 2001/95/EC 2) UK Statutory Instrument 2005 No. 1803 - CONSUMER PROTECTION The General Product Safety Regulations 2005 The test methods applied should follow specific clauses from the harmonised standard BS EN 62133-2:2017 (or equivalent), or other reliable, accurate and reproducible calculation and measurement methods, which take into account the generally recognised state of the art. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
