Brief Description of Requirement The Transforming Foundation Industry challenge is supporting the development of innovative technology to reduce energy and resource use within the foundation industries - which include the cement, glass, ceramics, paper, metals and bulk chemicals sectors. The primary aim of this work is to help our Foundation Industry companies to understand the materials and products that their major customers might be purchasing from them in the medium to long term. To achieve this, the major customers in the Construction sector are being invited to discuss how they imagine their requirements for the materials or products currently provided by the foundation sector might have changed by 2050. To achieve this, a two-part programme of work is required, comprising an Event and Supporting research.
