Pre-Market Engagement for the provision of a Payment Processing Gateway

Leicester City Council are commencing a formal process to obtain market intelligence on offerings in the market on a commercial off the shelf solutions in relation to a Payment Processing Gateway. The Council currently uses the Paygate platform for automating and securely managing the transfer of payment files with the banks. Paygate is hosted on the Council's local servers, in its data centres but its preference is to move to a cloud-based system. The platform facilitates both Direct Debit collections and outgoing payments by securely transmitting files to the bank. Before potentially commencing a formal tender process, the Council is keen to seek market information from organisations that may have an interest or expertise in this field. The information provided will be used to help inform and shape the requirements in our specification.
