Domestic Abuse Support Service

The Borough Council of Calderdale is to commission a service that delivers outcomes focussed, high quality specialist domestic abuse support service for adults, children and young people across Calderdale (the "Service"). The Service will have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention. In particular, the service will: - Provide outcome foccussed, high quality and person centred Specialist Domestic Abuse (DA) services for adults, children and young people across Calderdale; - Have a strong focus on early intervention and prevention, with at least 40% of activity dedicated to this; - See individuals as part of a bigger system of family relationships and as such will work closely with wider partner agencies to provide co-ordinated support for those experiencing domestic abuse; and - The service will include outreach support in areas with highest demand and have the flexibility to be accessible at those times and locations with highest need.
