*Please note - The procurement procedure did not result in a contract award, no compliant bids received* UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), through its component Research Council, The Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), require to purchase an RF Amplifier. The proposed RF ion source will require pulses of RF centred on a frequency of 2 MHz and up to 100 kW peakpower. The ISIS accelerator currently operates with a pulse repetition rate of 50 Hz and a beam pulse width between 200 μs and 800 μs, in order to maintain compatibility the RF ion source will operate over a similar pulse width and repetition rate.
