Description

Leighton-Linslade Town Council wishes to appoint a Splash Park Contractor to refurbish our current Splash Park located in Parsons Close Recreation Ground, LU7 1AD. Please complete the attached pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) along with a detailed quotation for the works required (as described below) The Town Council will then shortlist providers following these submissions. The successful providers will then be invited to present to Council Members on 5th November 2025. This presentation will be a max 15min PowerPoint Presentation and then 15min Q&A. The deadline for your PQQ and formal quotation is 9am on 24th October 2025 Requirements for the Splash Park; • To address the crumbling surface of the existing area. • To address the issue of increased detritus getting into the current filtration system and therefore increasing the current chemical usage and wear and tear on plant room operations. • To provide within your quotation the estimated savings on chemicals, water and electricity by choosing your suggestions. • To consider revamping the play features thus bringing new and exciting features to the public of our town. • To promote inclusivity to our Splash Park considering access and egress for all. • To increase the longevity of this much needed attraction in our town and help to reduce its carbon and ecological footprint. A preferred supplier recommendation from the presentations phase will be put to Full Council on 24th November 2025. The successful provider will then be notified following this. Interested parties may contact Rich Davis, Head of Grounds and Environmental Services on 07960873551 or by email Richard.davis@leightonlinslade-tc.gov.uk Contract to commence January 2026-March 2026. All Splash Park works must be completed in time to reopen the Splash Park from 1st May 2026.
