Highways England Noise Insulation Project

In collaboration with Local Partnerships this contract was awarded under The National Framework for Energy Performance Contracting (RE:FIT) Ref: RM3768. The key strategic objectives of this scheme, supporting the Highways England KPI to mitigate noise in at least 1,150 Noise Important Areas between 2015 and 2020, are: • to improve the health and well-being of people living in properties adjacent to the road network through noise mitigation measures; and • apply cost-effective investment to properties which are worst affected by traffic noise.
