Market Engagement Event - Occupational Health Service
Anglian Waters internal Occupational Health (OH) Service exists to protect, promote, and maintain the health, safety, and wellbeing of all employees. It provides confidential, impartial advice and support to ensure that work-related health risks are effectively managed and that employees are fit, healthy, and able to perform their roles safely.
The OH Service supports all Anglian Water employees, regardless of role or contract type, and covers:
Health Surveillance – Regular monitoring for employees exposed to specific workplace risks (e.g., noise, hazardous substances, vibration).
Fitness for Work Assessments – Pre-employment, return-to-work, and role-specific medical evaluations.
Sickness Absence Management – Independent advice to managers on supporting employees’ recovery and return to work.
Workplace Adjustments – Recommendations for reasonable adjustments to support employees with health conditions or disabilities.
Wellbeing Promotion – Initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyles, stress management, and mental health awareness.
Incident & Illness Investigation – Assessment and follow-up after workplace accidents, injuries, or occupational illnesses.
